Does what it claims when other products (admittedly 2 to 3 years ago) did not. Simple and relatively cheap.

I needed something to boost my home BT wifi upstairs, this is a neat product and a bargain price here. The downside is it is a relay type device so creates extra hotspots for both 5G and 2G bands so not as elegant as the mesh solutions but ideal for my needs. Some good tutorials on youtube.

I’ve set up a cctv camera at the back of my property and although the camera connected to my BT hub6 it was very poor and took ages to review any footage or would time out.
I purchased the WiFi booster and now have a great connection and get immediate feedback from the camera.
Setting it up was relatively easy but the information supplied says to use the password that came with the booster, this doesn’t work as you use the same password as the main hub. On the 5ghz setting the unit showed ‘too far’ so I couldn’t use this but no problem at 2.5ghz.

If you have one of the BT dual-band routers that fails to do what the box claims and you can’t even get a signal in the next room the 750 version of this extender is a far better and cheaper purchase.
If you have multiple floors in need of a boost without resorting to Cat5 then this 1200 extender is a very good solution. Both models are very easy to setup. True plug and play. Just flick the switches to the required settings and press the Router WPS button and then the Extender WPS button and the devices will sort themselves out.
Excellent products. At either 2.4 or 5 bands.

Easy to setup and does the job. I found this item easy to setup and it has improved my Wi-Fi in that part of my home when before it would often trip out.
Not cheap but I purchased another make much cheaper for the other end of my home but found it difficult to setup and most importantly not a secure Wi-Fi and photos etc don’t load up.
Again you sometimes get what you pay for

I have not seen a great improvement so far but I believe it’s not the product but is due to our very poor internet signal constantly dropping out once this has been sorted then I can give a honest and true review

I found the BT 11AC WiFi extender very easy to set up and it solved a not spot problem. The LED signal strength indicators make determining a suitable midway location for the extender a doddle. Its receiver appeared to be better than that in my HP laptop as I found I was able to locate the extender within the area where my laptop was struggling to obtain a signal from the BT hub. Having set up the extender the next step is to log onto its signal. When within the area served by the extender on your laptop etc you need will need to search for networks and log onto the extenders output. The extender uses the same ID as the BT hub preceded by EXT2. The logon password being the same as used to log onto your BT hub.
